Office
In July 2003 Imperia-GmbH relocated to an old factory building
not far from the centre of Aachen and close to the A4 motorway
(Cologne-Maastricht/Liege).
In the direct neighbourhood there are numerous Aachen institutes
and research facilities.
Here we not only have our offices, but also workshops and a laboratory.

Life
in Aachen
Directly in the border triangle Germany - Belgium - the Netherlands

|
Life in Aachen offers a truly bubbling
source of variety - and not just because of its many fountains
and springs. As part of the border triangle formed by Belgium,
Germany, the Netherlands, and thanks to its resplendent history,
Aachen plays an important role in political, economic and cultural
life in the EUREGIO Rhine Maas.
Aachen has a long historical tradition: starting from fire stone
extraction in the Stone Age, through classical baths during the
Roman period, the imperial residency and seat of government of
Charlemagne - whose name is always heard in connection with Aachen
- place of coronation for the first German kings and so on to a
famous and very chic European spa resort and an important economic
centre (textile and needle industry) in the 19th century.
One of the most important economic factors in the region today
is the universities which, with their maxim "Research-Development-Production",
constantly provide the innovative spirit with intellectual stimulation.
The many technology service enterprises in the area play a major
role in the economic environment of the EUREGIO.
The numerous students (up to 55,000) obviously give the city a
very special character, not to mention the multitude of possibilities
on the cultural, art and gastronomic scene, which again gains even
more from our Belgian and Dutch neighbours.
